Since 2005, Vision has been the leading Cheerleading school in the Northern Rivers.
Specialising in Competitive Cheerleading, Instructor Jill Wehner is a Gymnastics Australia accredited coach who has developed an intensive program that teaches Stunts, Pom, and Tumbling and also incorporates dance, flexibility and conditioning.
Cheerleading is now a worldwide sport and Vision competes regularly in regional and interstate competitions. The Vision Vipers were Auscheer National Champions in 2008/2009/2010!
Anyone age 8 or over is welcome to join, both girls and boys, and no dance or gymnastic background is neccessary. Just a good level of fitness and the ability to work in a fun team environment.
All classes are held on the gymnastic floor at the Byron Entertainment Centre in the Arts and Industry Estate.
Red Squad - Recreational
Ages: 8 – 18 years
Time: Tuesdays 5.30 – 6.30pm
Where: Byron Entertainment Centre
Black Squad - Competition
Ages: 14 years and over
Time: Tuesdays 6.30 – 8.00pm
Where: Byron Entertainment Centre
Vision Vipers Red Squad:
In class cheerleaders must wear: Vision Vipers t-shirt, cheer shorts and large cheer bow, white cheerleading shoes must be worn.
Hair tied off the face, NO JEWELLERY, NAILS MUST BE SHORT – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Each cheerleader is required to purchase the Vipers uniform.
Vision Vipers Black Squad:
In class cheerleaders must wear: Vision Dance t-shirt cheer shorts and large cheer bow, white cheerleading shoes must be worn.
Hair tied off the face, NO JEWELLERY, NAILS MUST BE SHORT – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Each cheerleader is required to purchase the Vipers uniform and Vision Tracksuit.
All Vision members are required to have the correct attire for each class.
